Tawa Pulao

Tawa Pulao is a very famous street food of Mumbai.It is very tasty and filled with different varieties of vegetables giving it a very colorful look. This Tawa Pulao recipe is a quick to make if you have leftover Rice. You will also need Pav Bhaji masala for making this Pulao.
This Pulao tastes best with yogurt, Raita and with any pickle. I am also sharing a quick video of this recipe at the end.
Ingredients for Tawa Pulao
Boiled rice 2 cups ( preferably Basmati Rice)
Tomatoes finely chopped 1-2 medium
Oil 3 tablespoons
Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Onion finely chopped 1 medium
Garlic crushed 2 teaspoon
Carrot diced 1 medium
Sweet Corn 1 small boiled
Spring Onion - 2 strands
Pav bhaji masala 2 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté till well browned. . Add crushed garlic and the onion and sauté till lightly browned. Then, add tomatoes and sauté till tomatoes become soft.



Step 2
Add carrots,sweet corn and spring onion and cook for two to three minutes.Then, add Pav Bhaji Masala and Salt and mix everything well.



Step 3
Now add the rice and mix well to coat everything nicely on rice.

Step 4
Cook on high heat for a couple of minutes. Serve hot.
